Join artist Heather Ray Boelke as you cut and paste paper to create a portrait of a beloved pet or your favorite animal. Learn about HRay's pet portrait process and receive guided instruction, as you capture the character of your animal subject in collage form. Bring an 8.5"x11" color print of your pet or animal subject (limit 1 animal per canvas). Date: Saturday, October 4 Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Age Requirements: 16+ with beginner to intermediate experience Artist Bio: Heather Ray Boelke is a central Indiana artist and art educator. She has been teaching visual art locally since 2012, and has a passion for connecting communities through arts experiences. Boelke specializes in watercolor and collage techniques, studying natural and nostalgic themes. She became a published illustrator in 2023 and a Juried Member of HCAA in 2024. Cancellation within seven or more days' notice prior to the start date of the 1st class is 95% refunded (represents 5% transaction fee). Cancellation with two to six days' notice is 45% refunded (includes 5% transaction fee). Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice is 0% refunded but registration is transferrable.
