The darkroom is available for rent, offering a convenient space for photography projects.
Description
What is included? We've equipped the darkroom with all the essentials, including: Water filtration system with temperature control Beakers and measuring cups to mix chemicals Negative lightbox Film development tanks and reels (for 35-120mm) Stearman Press 4x5 film processing tank Beseler 67 enlarger with 35 and 120mm negative carriers Gralab electronic enlarger timer with foot pedal Microfocus finder Contact print frame Multiple enlarging easels Ilford Multigrade Filter Set Multiple print developer trays and tongs (4 x 5 and larger) Archival print washer and drying rack A large work area with a guillotine paper cutter and mat cutter What is not included? Instructions on the use of equipment and chemicals. (A basic understanding of black-and-white film and paper development and printing is assumed by potential renters.) Photography paper and chemicals What is the cost? The rental fee is $20/hour for non-members. How far in advance do I need to schedule? You can check the calendar here to see availability. Is there parking at the gallery? Yes! There is a small parking lot (that fits 3 cars), as well as free street parking all around. Can I come to check out the space before we book the darkroom? Absolutely! We are usually open every Saturday from February to November. We can also schedule a separate time if that doesn't work for you.
