Kathy Garnes grew up in Indiana. She studied Fine Arts at Bradley University in Peoria Illinois and spent a semester studying art in Paris France. After graduating Kathy became a flight attendant. She enjoyed experiencing various cultures and seeing art from around the world. Kathy left Delta Airlines after 14 years to stay home with her twins. While her children were young, Kathy taught Summer art camps and painted backdrops for school musicals. Now that her children are older, she is more involved in creating murals and public art. Kathy enjoys sharing her love of art with her family and the community.
