Even though I’m a lifetime Hoosier, I continue to be awed by the beauty that shelters our state. Nature, especially trees, is my muse. My art mirrors the beauty that surrounds us, blending traditional subjects with contemporary presentations. My process begins with "fluid painting," an unpredictable dance of colors reacting organically on the canvas. I sculpt clay and plaster, layering depth and texture onto a wood canvas, culminating in a smooth, glass-like finish with epoxy resin. For me, art is an escape, a brief respite from our bustling lives. I hope viewers delve into the abstract backgrounds, creating images in their minds and asking, "How do you do this?" and "Can we touch it?"
