We are very excited to host a show for the scholarship applicants giving the public an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful and creative artwork created by these Hamilton County students. Please join us at the Open House to view the show, meet the artists and enjoy refreshments and hors d-oeuvres.

Artist of the Month

Alys Caviness-Gober
March 2015

Alys is a local author and artist, whose paintings, photographs, and poetry have received international recognition. In 2014, one of her poems was published in an Irish poetry anthology published in Dublin Ireland, and one of her paintings was selected as a Finalist in The Artist's Magazine's International competition. 

Special thanks to the Hamilton County Convention and Visitors Bureau for hosting our program at the Noblesville Visitors Center. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the work of our talented local artists for our community and visitors to enjoy. Stop by to visit at 839 Conner Street Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays from 1 to 5 pm. Look for a new featured artist each month!

Fine Art Scholarships

HCAA is pleased to announce a new format for our Fine Art Scholarships. HCAA will host an art show for the applicants and display their work in our gallery March 12th - March 20th on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm.  The gallery will be open to friends, family and the public for viewing of the students' art.  Additionally, we will host an Open House on Friday, March 13th from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm during which the scholarships will be awarded.

The Hamilton County Artists' Association spent several months developing a Strategic Plan as a roadmap for HCAA through the next five years.  The plan focuses on our mission goals of providing artistic development, fellowship and art appreciation to its members and the Hamilton County community.
